Caroline Black

Psychotherapy in Hampshire and Surrey Borders

I am a BPC registered psychotherapist working from small discreet private practices in and around Petersfield and Haslemere.  I work with individuals on an open ended, as well as a time limited basis. I offer a confidential and safe environment in which we can explore together the difficult personal issues and feelings that may be troubling you and preventing you from moving forward with your life.  I have many years of experience working in mental health within the NHS. Combined with this, a rigorous four year training  in Intercultural Psychodynamic Psychotherapy with the Tavistock Clinic, has equipped me to work with a range of conditions such as:

  • anxiety
  • panic attacks
  • depression
  • stress
  • suicidal thoughts
  • low self esteem
  • trauma
  • obsessive compulsive disorder
  • self destructive behaviours and self harming
  • life crisis
  • bereavement
  • work difficulties
  • ageing issues

You may have found this site because you are considering embarking on psychotherapy for yourself or someone you care about. Taking the first step and making initial contact is never easy. My website is designed to offer you a brief synopsis of psychodynamic psychotherapy and my approach to the work. Should you wish to proceed by making an appointment for an initial consultation, or if you have any further questions, I would be pleased to hear from you either by email or phone. I look forward to meeting with you.
